SPARK Social is a community-driven gathering space designed to bring people together through food, culture, and shared experiences. As we expand to San Jose, we’re building a local marketing team that lives on-site and brings the energy of the park to life online every single day.
Summary of Position
The Social Media Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role focused on capturing the everyday heartbeat of SPARK Social SF. From food trucks and vendors to guests, live music, and park vibes, this role owns the day-to-day content that fuels our social channels. This is a hands-on position for someone who is constantly creating, editing, and posting, eager to reflect the laid-back, fun vibe guests experience at the park.
Responsibilities
- Be on-site at SPARK Social SF, capturing real-time content throughout the week
- Shoot and edit short-form video and photo content for social media, email marketing, website, and other assets as needed
- Attend events as needed to support content capturing and creation
- Publish day-to-day social content and truck schedule across platforms
- Capture food truck features, vendor spotlights, guest moments, and park ambiance
- Support promotional campaigns for in-house initiatives and partner activations
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/DMs, and help foster community online
- Assist with maintaining a monthly content calendar and submitting content for review
- Track basic performance metrics and identify trends or opportunities for growth
- Support the marketing team with additional content needs as they arise
Requirements
- Strong eye for videography, photography, and visual storytelling
- Shooting and editing content specifically for social media to capture the daily park vibe
- Comfortable being on camera and has a strong on-camera presence
- Proficiency with tools like Canva, InShot, CapCut, or similar editing platforms
- Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and best practices
- Passion for food, community spaces, and small businesses
- Reliable smartphone for content creation
- Flexible and enjoys creative problem-solving
- Comfortable working independently on-site and in fast-paced environments
- Availability for weekday shifts and occasional weekend coverage
- Proficient in Spanish or enthusiastic to utilize communication tools as required
