About the Opportunity
Established healthcare organization seeking a physician leader to provide medical oversight, clinical guidance, and strategic direction for a growing patient-focused practice.
This role is ideal for a recently retired, semi-retired, or currently practicing physician seeking a flexible opportunity to remain engaged in patient care, clinical leadership, and healthcare innovation while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.
The selected physician will serve as Medical Director and collaborate with an experienced administrative and clinical team to support quality patient care, regulatory compliance, clinical protocols, and operational excellence.
Office space and administrative support may be available for physicians interested in maintaining or expanding their own independent practice activities.
Responsibilities
Provide medical oversight and clinical direction for practice operations
Review and advise on clinical workflows, protocols, and patient care processes
Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives
Collaborate with administrative leadership on clinical policies and procedures
Participate in periodic provider and staff education
Be available for consultation regarding clinical matters as needed
Assist with strategic planning and practice growth initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO with an active California medical license
Board-certified or board-eligible preferred
Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
Interest in collaborative, patient-centered care
Excellent communication and team-building abilities
