What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guitar Teacher position at Spark School of Music?
Independent music school is looking for a reliable, qualified guitar instructor that values punctuality and professionalism. Ability to teach additional instruments are a plus.
Requirements:
- Completion of Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Minimum 1 year of experience in youth mentorship
- Proficiency in reading music
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum 2 days of availability
- Ability to pass a background check
Job position includes:
- Interacting with students ages 6
- Teaching private lessons and small group classes
- Keeping students engaged while maintaining a fun and friendly learning environment
- Completing student practice notes by the end of every lesson
- Nurturing students of all ages and skill levels
