About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Welding Fabricator to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality components for our CNC machines, automation systems, and contract-manufactured assemblies. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in both MIG and TIG welding across various materials and thicknesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welds on steel, stainless, and aluminum components.
- Fabricate assemblies using jigs, fixtures, and engineered drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication instructions.
- Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment to ensure consistent results.
- Maintain strict attention to detail in fit-up, weld appearance, and dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect own work to meet internal quality standards before passing parts forward.
- Assist with cutting, grinding, forming, and prep work as needed.
- Work closely with fabrication and engineering teams to meet production deadlines.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety practices.
- Be punctual and dependable, adhering to the Monday–Friday, 9–5 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in MIG and TIG welding.
- Strong knowledge of steel, stainless, and aluminum welding practices.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to meet daily schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fabrication environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using tube lasers, plate/flat lasers, press brakes, and jigs.
- Previous work in a CNC manufacturing or automation environment.
- Experience with weld documentation or part tracking systems.
