In 2021 the Schuco model brand was added to the portfolio, offering diecast and resin model road cars, and commercial vehicles. LookSmart Models was acquired in 2024, further strengthening our position as a leader in the collectibles market.
Purpose of the Role:
This role is responsible for B2B business growth, establishing new customers and managing current customers. Maximising sales and promoting the latest products to our growing customer base. The successful candidate will build relationships with customers and colleagues, including those working out of our wholly owned Factories in China and Madagascar. Overseeing the order, shipping, invoice, and customer service process. The role will encompass everyday business operations while strategically expanding the business in North America and South America.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be part of a small team with high ambitions to develop a growing business. Working with some of the most well-known automotive, motorsport teams and sports apparel companies.
- Lead the charge in managing our North America and South American operations in a start-up environment, taking ownership of business development
- Work as part of a dynamic team with ambitious goals to develop and grow the business
- Promote and manage the distribution
- Collaborate with the Director to devise competitive product pricing strategies
- Efficiently manage customer orders and adhere to order windows, ensuring accurate production quantities with the Factories
- Monitor and track shipments from the Factories and third-party freight forwarders, proactively communicating shipment details with customers
- Ensure timely and effective flow of relevant information between the Factories and customers.
- Oversee and manage the invoice process, ensuring accuracy and timely billing
- Cultivate strong relationships with our ever-expanding customer base
- Assist in managing bespoke manufacturing projects, ensuring smooth execution
Desired Skills and Experience:
A reliable and honest self-starter with proven track record of successfully developing business opportunities and driving sales growth.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, agile start-up setting. An entrepreneurial organised self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of taking ownership of projects and seeing them through to completion.
You will have previous experience in an Account Management and or Sales role. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Excel.
A good understanding of merchandise sales and shipping would be advantageous. In addition, an interest and good understanding of motorsports, automotive and collectibles would be highly desirable.
The ability to speak Spanish would be advantageous.
This is a full time role based in Daytona Beach, Monday to Friday. There is the option to work from home 1 day per week.
There will be travel occasionally within the US and internationally to meet customers, and support events.
For this role a salary range of $50,000-70,000 per annum is offered, dependent on experience. 24 days’ holiday and the chance to work in a truly unique environment.
