Classroom Descriptions:
Little Sparks is an early education program for children 2-6 years old. Our three inclusive classrooms seamlessly integrate individualized therapy for children with autism and other developmental delays into the classroom setting. Children receive instruction in a meaningful way through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide care to a group of children Monday-Friday 2:30pm-5:15pm
- Maintain a safe environment for all children
- Develop and plan a daily schedule of activities that are fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate
- Help children discover new interest by introducing them to new activities
- Ensure children are learning positive behaviors
- Collaborate with our therapy team and lead teachers to support each child’s learning and development
Communicate with parents daily at pick up

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, and an interest in working with children with special needs
- Enjoy working with, caring for, and having fun with children
- Outgoing and a positive attitude
- Able to receive ongoing feedback
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and overall enjoy communicating
- Want to work as a team with your peers
- Physically able to play on the floor with children, while providing therapy (sit, stand, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs)
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, ability to pass background check and drug screening
