We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cultivation Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, and maintaining crops using irrigation systems and hand tools
- Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and implement appropriate treatments
- Manage greenhouse conditions including temperature, humidity, and lighting to promote healthy growth
- Perform routine pruning, trimming, and harvesting activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation areas
- Support transplanting and propagation and harvesting efforts as needed
- Operate mechanical equipment related to cultivation processes safely and efficiently
- Conduct regular plant identification to ensure proper care for different species
- Adhere to all compliance and traceability requirements
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and outdoor work activities
Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, crouch or reach repeatedly and for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed goals and expectations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding outdoor work
- Ability to retain information, and perform repeated tasks with little to no variation
- Ability to work in various conditions (lighting, temperature, humidity) and adhere to safety standards
- Prior experience with plant growing techniques or agriculture is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
