Job Title

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Musculoskeletal / Orthopedic Medicine

Overview

We are a growing musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine clinic seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with strong interest or background in orthopedic and joint-related conditions.[

This is a full-time, outpatient position focused on evaluation and non-surgical management of patients with neck, back, and extremity complaints in a collaborative, patient-centered environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations, including detailed histories and focused orthopedic and rheumatologic exams

• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests (X-ray, MRI, labs, ultrasound as applicable).

• Diagnose and manage common musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, spine pain, sports and overuse injuries).

• Perform or assist with image-guided joint and soft-tissue injections (e.g., corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, PRP/biologic therapies per clinic protocols).

• Utilize or learn musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis and guidance of injections (training available if needed).

• Develop and implement non-operative treatment plans in coordination with supervising physicians, physical therapists, and other team members.

• Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment options, home exercise and self-management strategies, and when to escalate care.

• Document encounters and orders accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.[ims ribe provided)

• Participate in quality improvement, patient experience, and clinical protocol development as the practice grows.

Preferred Clinical Focus

• Strong interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, spine, or general musculoskeletal care.

• Comfort with, or desire to develop expertise in, ultrasound-guided joint and soft-tissue procedures.

• Prior experience in orthopedics, PM&R, rheumatology, pain management, urgent care, or related fields is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner in [State].[m

• Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program.

• National certification (NCCPA for PAs; board certification for NPs) or eligibility.

• Minimum [1–2] years of clinical experience in orthopedics, musculoskeletal medicine, rheumatology, physical medicine & rehabilitation, pain, or related specialty preferred; motivated new graduates with strong orthopedic rotations will be considered.

• Proficiency in performing joint injections and aspirations; ultrasound-guided experience is a plus but not required if you are eager to learn.

• Excellent communication skills, strong clinical reasoning, and a team-oriented mindset. Bilingual is a positive

• Full-time, outpatient schedule (typically 4–5 days per week).
