Stretch & Recovery Specialist Independent Contractor

Position Overview

Revive Middletown is expanding its recovery and wellness team and is seeking experienced Stretch & Recovery Specialists interested in building their practice inside a growing sports performance and wellness facility.

This opportunity is designed for professionals who want the flexibility to grow their own clientele while also gaining exposure to Revive and Ignite Sports Performance members, athletes, adults and local families.

We are interested in professionals experienced in one or more recovery modalities, including:

• Assisted stretch therapy
• Mobility and flexibility services
• Recovery sessions
• Compression therapy
• Normatec recovery
• Cryotherapy
• Percussion therapy
• Manual recovery techniques
• Cupping, when appropriately licensed/certified
• Sports recovery
• Corrective exercise
• Other qualified wellness and recovery modalities

Compensation

This is a percentage-based independent contractor opportunity.

Expected compensation is approximately $40–$100 per service hour, depending upon:

• Service provided
• Credentials and experience
• Length of appointment
• Established service price
• Agreed revenue split
• Whether clients are generated by Revive or brought by the specialist

Exact percentage split and service pricing will be established in the contractor agreement.

This is not a guaranteed hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, professional recovery or stretch sessions
• Assess client needs within your professional scope
• Develop appropriate individualized recovery sessions
• Maintain accurate client documentation when required
• Maintain a clean and professional treatment area
• Educate clients regarding recovery, mobility and wellness
• Maintain all licenses, certifications and professional insurance required for your services
• Follow facility safety, sanitation and operating standards
• Develop strong relationships with clients and other Revive professionals

Qualifications

• Relevant professional certification, education or license for services performed
• Current CPR/AED certification preferred
• Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Experience working with athletes or active adults is a plus

An existing book of business is strongly preferred but not required.

Candidates who already maintain clients and are looking for a professional facility in which to expand their practice are especially encouraged to apply.
