We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Protection Officer to join our team at Spark'd. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our premises, protecting our staff and visitors, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out regular inspections of the premises to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Controlling access to the property, verifying identities, and authorizing entry and exit points
- Addressing and resolving security-related incidents promptly and effectively
- Securing all entrances, exits, doors, and windows after operations conclude
- Maintaining surveillance equipment, detecting malfunctions, and reporting issues
- Investigating suspicious behavior or possession of prohibited items
- Responding to alarms, assessing situations, and providing assistance as needed
- Detecting and detaining perpetrators according to established protocols until authorities arrive
- Prepared and submitting detailed reports on daily activities and notable incidents
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- Comprehensive knowledge of laws and regulations governing security and public safety
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior observational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with advanced surveillance technology and systems
- Training in first aid, BLS, and self-defense techniques
- A high school diploma is required
- A valid Perc card is necessary
