What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Spark by Hilton - Wichita Falls, Texas?
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows instructions well, and understands that quality and attention to detail come first.
Responsibilities
- Arrive around 9:00 AM and prepare your housekeeping cart.
- Follow the daily checkout list and remove trash and used laundry from rooms as they leave.
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, guest laundry areas, and general/common areas.
- Complete rooms within a 30-minute target, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Perform deep cleaning as needed and address areas requiring extra attention as instructed.
- Typically clean 5–10 rooms per day, depending on the daily workload.
- Communicate professionally and work efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Employees must take 30-minute lunch breaks once a day
Schedule
- Start time: Approximately 9:00 AM
- Typical end time: 1:00–3:00 PM, depending on the number of rooms assigned.
Training & Pay
- Paid training starts at $7.25/hour until you are fully trained and ready to work independently.
- Pay rate is negotiable based on experience, skills, and performance.
