As a Front Desk Agent at Spark by Hilton, you are more than just a receptionist; you are a multi-talented host who ensures our guests have a reliable, comfortable, and seamless stay. You’ll be the face of our "Essentials Done Right" promise, handling everything from a warm welcome to ensuring our public spaces and breakfast offerings are top-notch. This role is perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys a variety of tasks, from guest relations to maintaining the high standards of our physical space.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly, manage efficient check-ins/check-outs, and provide helpful information about the hotel and local area.
- Operational Excellence:
- Laundry Operations: Assist with running, folding, and stocking laundry to ensure a constant supply of fresh linens.
- Breakfast Management: Set up or wind up the breakfast station (depending on shift), ensuring a clean, stocked, and inviting environment for guests to start their day.
- Marketplace Maintenance: Fill and track expiration dates for items in the Marketplace refrigerator to ensure freshness and availability.
- Coffee Service: Monitor the coffee station and proactively brew fresh coffee whenever supplies run low.
- Facilities & Upkeep:
- Maintain the Spark standard of cleanliness by vacuuming and mopping the entrance walk area and breakfast area during your shift.
- Ensure the lobby and front desk remain tidy, organized, and welcoming.
- Communication & Safety: Manage multi-line phone systems with professional etiquette and coordinate with maintenance/housekeeping for prompt guest resolutions.
Qualifications
- Hospitality Mindset: Previous experience in hotel operations or customer service is preferred, but a "can-do" attitude is essential.
- Multitasking Pro: Ability to pivot between administrative desk duties and physical tasks (laundry, cleaning, food prep) with ease.
- Attention to Detail: Diligent in tracking inventory (Marketplace) and maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Technical Savvy: Comfortable learning hotel management software (PeP) and managing phone systems.
- Flexibility: Ability to night shifts (10pm - 6am) , including early mornings for breakfast setup or evenings for night audit support.
