Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, using appropriate cleaning techniques and products
- Conduct laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing to ensure freshness and availability
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and performing specialized cleaning such as carpet cleaning or floor polishing as needed
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to uphold health standards, including disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guests requests for additional cleaning or amenities
- Manage custodial supplies inventory, restocking cleaning products and equipment efficiently
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including scheduling or training new team members in proper cleaning procedures
Skills
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols in cleaning procedures
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Competence in laundry operations and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Experience with hotel housekeeping management or supervising a team is a plus
- Familiarity with various cleaning tools and equipment used in hospitality settings
