Role Description The Front Desk Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, answering questions about hotel services and local attractions, and handling reservations and room assignments. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to guest inquiries in person and via email, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records in the hotel’s computer systems. The Front Desk Staff also coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance teams, addresses guest concerns promptly and professionally, and helps ensure a smooth and positive guest experience from arrival through departure.
Qualifications
- Customer-facing skills, including strong Customer Service and Communication abilities.
- Front desk and administrative capabilities, such as Receptionist Duties and professional Phone Etiquette.
- Technical proficiency, including basic Computer Literacy and comfort with reservation or property management systems.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in busy or high-pressure situations, with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Prior experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred but not required.
