We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within our hotel. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, living areas, and kitchenettes, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and perform floor care duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff to promote a welcoming environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or similar roles within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is an advantage.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
