Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm and friendly check-in experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel management system.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to assist guests effectively.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when handling incoming calls, providing information or transferring calls as needed.
- Assist in promoting hotel services and upselling additional amenities to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest interactions.
