Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in our hotel. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to meet guest expectations.
- Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, linens, and refreshments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in the cleaning of public areas within the hotel to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and staff.
