Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient workflow.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to meet safety standards and quality expectations.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to food safety regulations.
- Implement staffing schedules, conduct interviews, and handle staff performance evaluations to build a strong team.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health codes in all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support the restaurant's profitability goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within quick service or fast food environments.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Strong supervisory skills with a background in staff training, team management, and leadership roles.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and health regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a positive team environment.
