As we expand our North American presence, we are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Field Sales Manager to build strategic relationships and accelerate revenue growth across the U.S. wind market.
Position Overview
The Renewable Energy Field Sales Manager will develop and execute a regional growth strategy focused on wind turbine aftermarket parts sales. This is a high-impact role requiring strong commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships with wind farm owners, operators, and O&M providers.
You will serve as the face of Spares in Motion across your territory, identifying opportunities, conducting site visits, building long-term partnerships, and driving marketplace adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Identify high-potential wind farms and key accounts across Oklahoma and the Northern Texas Market
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within the wind turbine aftermarket.
- Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and customer purchasing behaviors.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Conduct on-site visits to wind farms and O&M providers to assess spare parts needs and operational challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with asset managers, procurement teams, site managers, and service providers.
- Position SparesinMotion.com as a strategic sourcing partner rather than just a transactional supplier.
- Nurture existing accounts while expanding wallet share and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
- Drive direct sales of wind turbine spare parts and promote marketplace listings.
- Close new business opportunities and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Provide consultative solutions tailored to each customer’s fleet type, service model, and lifecycle stage.
- Track KPIs, forecast revenue, and report pipeline progress to leadership.
Market Intelligence & Collaboration
- Gather field insights to inform product strategy and platform enhancements.
- Collaborate with international and local teams on pricing strategies, inventory positioning, and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to expand brand awareness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in wind energy, renewable energy, or industrial B2B sales.
- Proven track record in sales, procurement, or aftermarket parts within the wind turbine sector.
- Established network within wind turbine owners, operators, or O&M companies preferred.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with demonstrated revenue results.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based, entrepreneurial role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Based in the Texas/Oklahoma U.S.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40%.
