Position Summary
As a SPARC Associate, you are the first point of contact and a key part of the member experience. You’ll welcome athletes and members, support daily operations, and help maintain a professional, high-energy atmosphere. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a love for sports and fitness, and a desire to grow within a dynamic, mission-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every athlete and guest with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Introduce prospective members to SPARC’s training philosophy and offerings
- Provide facility tours and help guide first-time visitors through the space
- Manage front desk operations: check-ins, phones, scheduling, and merchandise sales
- Assist coaches in preparing for and closing out training sessions
- Support membership and retail sales goals
- Handle member concerns and inquiries with a solution-oriented approach
- Assist the staff in keeping the facility clean, organized, and presentation-ready
Qualifications
- Outgoing, reliable, and team-oriented with excellent communication and people skills
- Interest in sports performance, personal training, physical therapy, or health & wellness is strongly preferred.
- Organized and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Customer service or fitness experience is a plus
- Familiarity with tools like Mind-Body, Canva, Basecamp, and Social Media is preferred
