Job description:
Licensed Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
Status: Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role
SPARC Health is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidate to join our dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility to work out of our Bothell or Bellevue offices, with a primary focus on pediatric caseloads. While the role is overwhelmingly pediatric-focused, there is an option to include adult care if desired (maintaining a mix of approximately 90% pediatric and 10% adult).
Working at SPARC involves leadership that genuinely values work-life balance, clinical excellence, and putting patient care and professional growth over corporate profits. We provide dedicated, high-quality mentorship and guidance for strong CF applicants.
Work Location & Travel Expectations
This position is an in-person, community-integrated role that provides a dynamic mix of clinic-based and off-site care.
- Travel: Involves 50%–70% travel to various off-site locations and clinical settings.
- School District Integration: Includes spending 2–3 days per week at a local school district.
- Travel Support: All driving time between sites is fully paid time, and standard mileage reimbursement is provided.
Speech Therapist Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
- Communicating with patients and liaising with their family members, physicians, teachers, and school staff to design and implement effective, collaborative treatment plans.
- Using tried-and-tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the highest standard of care.
- Educating patients and their families on speech disorders, progress, and available home or classroom-based therapies.
- Maintaining detailed, compliant clinical documentation on patient history, daily sessions, and progress.
- Evaluating patient progress and dynamically adapting therapy programs as required.
Speech Therapist Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid Washington state SLP license (or eligibility for a conditional/intern license for CFs).
- Clinical Skills: Sound understanding of pediatric speech-related disorders, developmental milestones, and evidence-based treatments.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building and collaborative skills for working across families, clinic staff, and school districts.
- Attributes: Resourcefulness, independence in travel management, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Commute: Ability to reliably commute/travel to Bellevue, Bothell, Lynnwood, and assigned school district sites.
