Position Overview
SPARC Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking two new Board of Directors members to help advance our mission and support sustainable growth. Board members play a key role in the oversight, development, and strategic guidance of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while leveraging your skills and network to make a direct impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend at least 75% of monthly virtual board meetings.
- Actively participate in one or more Board committees: Finance, Events, Risk, or Development.
- Support fundraising by raising at least $1,000 annually, through personal contributions, fundraising, in-kind donations, or matching gift programs.
- Attend at least two SPARC events or program visits annually to remain informed and connected.
- Advocate for SPARC’s mission within your network and utilize your contacts to promote growth.
- Serve a 3-year term with the opportunity to renew for one final term.

- No conflicts of interest; must serve solely as a volunteer
