Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to submit to a two-step PPD test or other established means. Required to complete field training evaluation period as part of credential establishing process during first 90 days of employment.
Unusual Demands: Work is subject to recurring and inflexible deadlines and frequent interruptions.

Requirements
As a Paramedic, you’ll be on the front lines of emergency care—providing critical medical services and safe transportation for patients in need.
- Respond rapidly to emergency calls and assess patient conditions
- Deliver high-quality pre-hospital care following Colorado protocols
- Communicate effectively with ER staff via radio or phone
- Administer advanced and basic life support, including medications and procedures
- Operate and maintain EMS equipment (defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, IVs, etc.)
- Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities
- Complete accurate and timely patient care documentation
- Maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and inventory throughout shifts
- Uphold patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times
- Collaborate with team members and maintain communication with dispatch
- Support safe patient movement and handling in all environments
- Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications
Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities And Skills
- Knowledge of use and proper utilization of personal protective equipment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of the region to assist with location of call-outs/nearest treatment facilities.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques.
- Ability to engage with and work with other personnel and teams.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement policies and procedures.
