Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of common areas including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, recreational spaces, and exterior walkways.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, application, and disposal to ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked with supplies.
- Follow safety protocols consistently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations or equipment handling.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and the proper use of cleaning equipment .
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks involving some heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with residents and staff.
