Pool Maintenance Technician – Residential Community Pools
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining community swimming pools to ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for residents and guests. Performs routine pool cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain community swimming pools and surrounding deck areas.
- Test and adjust water chemistry to meet health and safety standards.
- Skim, vacuum, brush pool surfaces, and empty skimmer baskets.
- Inspect and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, and other pool equipment.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate major repairs when necessary.
- Maintain maintenance logs and chemical usage records.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and company safety regulations.
- Assist residents by answering questions and addressing pool-related concerns.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and water chemistry.
- Ability to operate pool maintenance equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
