Technician (Manufacturing/Industrial)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance activities on process equipment across different departments within the facility.
• Perform preventive maintenance routines on a variety of production machinery.
• Accurately document all preventive maintenance tasks completed.
• Collaborate with the maintenance planner and utilize the CMMS system effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical or electrical components as needed.
• Assist with the setup and installation of new machinery or equipment.
• Fabricate custom parts for use in plant or production operations.
• Follow and enforce all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in electrical system troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of electrical control systems and diagnostic tools like multimeters.
• Skilled in mechanical troubleshooting, particularly with robots and automation systems.
• Familiarity with conveyor system components such as shafts, motors, and chains.
• Knowledge of PLC control logic (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including the operation of cylinders and valves.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and stooping throughout the day.
• Flexible availability, including overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
• Awareness of occupational safety and related precautions.
• Welding and cutting experience (MIG, TIG, Stick) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
