Key Responsibilities
Electrical
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues using multimeters, diagnostic software, and vehicle schematics.
- Perform wire splicing, terminal replacements, and detailed harness inspections.
- Read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical wiring diagrams.
- Support software updates and validate electrical system functionality post-repair.
- Carry out heavy electrical repairs, including motor replacements and high-complexity electrical diagnostics.
Mechanical
- Inspect and repair mechanical systems such as suspension, steering, and drivetrain components.
- Perform wheel alignments and verify mechanical tolerances.
- Conduct routine mechanical adjustments and maintenance to meet service standards.
Fitment
- Inspect vehicle panels, trims, and interior components for proper fitment and craftsmanship.
- Adjust, repair, or reinstall misaligned or improperly fitted components.
- Ensure cosmetic and functional fitment aligns with Lucid’s quality requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required:
5 years of automotive repair/diagnostics experience, or
Graduate from an automotive electrical program or college.
Inability to answer basic electrical questions.
Lack of understanding of multimeter usage.
Inability to properly use power tools or hand tools.
Top 3 Required Skills
Electrical diagnostics (strong, hands-on troubleshooting ability).
Heavy repairs (e.g., motor replacements, major electrical component repairs).
Clear understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in automotive service or electrical/mechanical repair.
- Strong knowledge of 12V vehicle electrical architecture and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service software, multimeters, and standard repair equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Preferred: High-voltage system experience or electric drivetrain repair background.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended durations.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
