Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automotive QA Engineer to lead HID (Human Interface Device) and Infotainment Testing for next-generation vehicle cockpit systems. The role focuses on validating end-to-end user experiences across connected car applications, ensuring stability, performance, and seamless integration before production release.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform end-to-end testing of automotive infotainment systems including cockpit applications
• Execute HID testing across input devices (touch, voice, steering controls, etc.)
• Conduct Bluetooth (BT) testing including pairing, connectivity, call handling, and media streaming
• Validate Apple CarPlay integration and functionality
• Test navigation systems, maps, and location-based services
• Perform stress, performance, and regression testing across all cockpit applications
• Validate integration of third-party apps within infotainment ecosystems
• Identify, log, and track defects using standard bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with development, system, and validation teams for issue resolution
• Support pre-release validation cycles ensuring production readiness
Required Skills
• Strong experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing / IVI systems
• Hands-on expertise in HID testing and device interaction validation
• Experience with Bluetooth protocols and testing tools
• Familiarity with CarPlay, Android Auto, or similar platforms
• Understanding of navigation systems, maps, and connected vehicle ecosystems
• Experience in stress, performance, and system-level testing
• Knowledge of embedded systems and Linux/Android-based platforms
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python preferred) for automation
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
Good to Have
• Experience with CAN tools, automotive communication protocols
• Exposure to automation frameworks for infotainment testing
• Knowledge of HMI/UX validation in automotive cockpit systems
• Experience with OTA updates and connected vehicle platforms
Education
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field
