The Client Assessor/ Substitute Site Manager performs initial and subsequent client assessments to determine eligibility and compatibility for the MOW program. Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Visits clients in their homes to perform assessments to determine program eligibility and compatibility. From time to time, assessments might be performed over the telephone as directed by the Program Manager.
- Submits assessments to the office within five business days.
- Receive and interpret daily referrals.
- Maintains good working relationships with other SPAN employees.
- Serves as a backup for Site Managers and volunteers in meal distribution.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Licensing:
- Be able to maintain a valid Texas State Driver’s License

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Remote environment. Driving required. Frequent climbing in and out of vehicle and entering and exiting client homes, while navigating a variety of potential obstacles. Employee may be exposed to patterns of lights and darkness normally experienced while driving (i.e. traffic lights, headlights, shadows, etc.).
