Job Summary

The Student Success Building Attendant serves as the primary staff presence in the library and student success building on Saturdays. This position helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment for students by monitoring building access, assisting with basic questions and printing support, and serving as a resource for students and visitors.  The most important qualifications for this role are: Punctuality, reliability, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Schedule: Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Essential Duties

• Staff the front desk during assigned hours.
• Monitor building access and welcome students and visitors.
• Provide directions and information about campus resources and services.
• Assist with basic printing and technology questions.
• Support student activities and events occurring within the building.
• Report safety, security, or facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service or front-desk experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
• Commitment to providing excellent service to students and visitors.

Interrelations

• Regular interaction with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Must demonstrate professionalism and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour
