What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment position at SPALDING UNIVERSITY?
Position Summary:
The Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment reports to the Director of Admissions.This role maintains direct recruitment responsibility for assigned graduate programs while providing Slate CRM and communication strategy support for all graduate recruitment efforts across the university.
Core Responsibilities
1. Graduate Recruitment for Assigned Programs
- Lead recruitment, application review, and onboarding processes for assigned graduate programs.
- Independently develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives to meet application, admit, and enrollment goals.
- Conduct holistic application review in partnership with Deans, program directors and academic liaisons.
- Represent Spalding University at graduate fairs, employer sites, community partner events, and professional gatherings.
- Develop and sustain employer and community partnerships that create graduate enrollment pipelines.
- Facilitate campus visits, individual appointments, and graduate program information sessions.
- Monitor and analyze inquiry, prospect, application, and deposit data to guide recruitment strategy.
2. Communication Plan Design & Strategy for Assigned Programs
- Develop and maintain structured communication plans for each assigned graduate program in partnership with the academic departments.
- Coordinate messaging timelines to align with application cycles and program deadlines, working closely with academic program leaders.
- Partner with Marketing to ensure all communications align with institutional brand standards.
- Monitor communication performance and refine strategies as needed.
- Support fellow graduate recruiters with Slate usage and communication plan development when needed.
3. Enrollment Strategy & Reporting
- Provide monthly and quarterly enrollment reports to the Director of Admissions and Vice President of Admissions and Student Experience.
- Analyze enrollment trends and recommend strategic adjustments for assigned programs.
- Identify new markets and geographic opportunities for graduate expansion.
- Support dual degree pathway promotion and graduate program cross selling.
4. Operational & Team Collaboration
- Serve as a resource and mentor to graduate recruiters on best practices.
- Support the day to day functions of the Admissions Office.
- Travel regionally as needed to support recruitment initiatives.
- Assist graduate recruiters and program coordinators with Slate troubleshooting and reporting.
5. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.
- 2 years of experience in graduate recruitment, admissions, or higher education enrollment.
- Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, Slate strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
