We are seeking a seasoned and result-driven Chief Operations Officer to oversee multi-store operations across our Georgia and Alabama locations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring consistency in merchandising, customer experience, and employee training to drive sales performance. Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset would be ideal as there is opportunity for new locations.

Responsibilities:
- Own and manage company-wide P&L performance
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, margins, and overall profitability
- Partner with finance to forecast, budget, and optimize cost structures
- Implement initiatives to improve store productivity and efficiency
- Ensure a consistent and compelling customer experience across all locations
- Drive initiatives that enhance the overall customer journey
- Drive initiatives that ensure monitoring of customer feedback, satisfaction metrics and trends
- Establish and monitor key operational KPIs (sales, conversion, AOV, UPT, payroll, shrink)
- Collaborate closely with merchandising to drive product performance and sell-through
- Ensure effective inventory allocation and replenishment across regions
- Reduce markdown exposure and optimize inventory turn
- Oversee execution of visual merchandising and brand standards
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team
- Work with executive team for succession planning and talent development strategies
- Provide coaching and performance management at the executive and leadership levels
- Support long-term business growth and scalability
- Evaluate organizational structure and optimize for evolving business needs
- Lead change management initiatives across the organization
- Partner with buying, merchandising, marketing, HR, finance, and supply chain teams.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across all departments
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in retail operations
- Proven experience overseeing multi-unit retail operations in apparel/softlines
- Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth and operational improvements
- College degree in finance or business.
- Knowledge in classic southern brands
- Deep understanding of product life cycle
- Proficient in retail technology and POS systems
- Ability to foster effective relationships a various levels to include associates, buyers, and owners
- Excels in team-building and maintaining a close-knit, supportive workplace dynamic
- High flexibility to travel across region but not overnight
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
