Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including merchandising and stocking shelves as needed
- Assist with product demos and upselling to promote store products and increase sales
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors using professional phone etiquette
- Support inventory management through stocking, organizing, and merchandising products
- Uphold store policies, safety standards, and cleanliness guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, basic math skills, and excellent customer service orientation are essential for success in this role
