Senior Training and Development Manager

Spalding, a Saalex Company is seeking a Senior Training and Development Manager in Patuxent River, MD. Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $118k-$120k annually (depending upon experience)

Work Location: This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below).

• On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received
  
  

Essential Functions:

• Plan, support, and coordinate training and development activities for end users
• Develop and write training documentation to include user instructions, reference guides, outlines, and computer-based training
• Deliver training presentations to individuals or groups of end users
• Develop and design story boards, use cases, and test scenarios
• Provide individual and group training on Team Center environment, reporting methods, and data exploration
• Other duties as assigned or required
  
  

Requirements

Required:

• At least three (3) years of technical experience in Logistics IT or IT support of Engineering activities or processes
• At least two (2) years of experience with PLM software, Siemens Teamcenter® preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical information
• Experience creating training documentation and plans for application functionality
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities
• Needs strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation
• Needs to be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• BS or BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Management, or related discipline. An additional three (3) years of experience or an additional two (2) years of experience plus an associate degree or Military experience in one of the identified degrees or a related discipline can be substituted for a BS or BA
  
  

Desired:

• Experience working with-in NAVAIR and /or with logistics support programs. Familiar with the Agile methodology
  
  

Security Clearance:

Must have an active Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:

BS or BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Management, or related discipline. An additional three (3) years of experience or an additional two (2) years of experience plus an associate degree or Military experience in one of the identified degrees or a related discipline can be substituted for a BS or BA.
