Role Description The Nurse Injector is a part-time, on-site role based in Erie, PA. This role is responsible for performing cosmetic injectable treatments, including Botox and dermal fillers, in accordance with established clinical protocols and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, reviewing medical histories, developing treatment plans, and educating clients on procedures, aftercare, and realistic outcomes. The Nurse Injector will document all treatments accurately, maintain a clean and compliant clinical environment, and collaborate with the spa team to support complementary services such as laser treatments and skincare procedures. The role also involves staying current with industry best practices and product knowledge to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) with active, unrestricted license in Pennsylvania.
- Experience with cosmetic injectables (e.g., Botox, dermal fillers) and strong knowledge of facial anatomy and injection safety.
- Skills in client assessment, treatment planning, and clear communication of risks, benefits, and aftercare instructions.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow infection control protocols, and uphold regulatory and ethical standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and commitment to delivering respectful, inclusive, and client-centered care.
- Comfort working in a medical spa setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team; prior medspa or dermatology/aesthetics experience is preferred.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuing education in aesthetic procedures, products, and devices.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic scheduling or electronic medical records systems are beneficial.
