Job Title: Senior Technical Data Analyst
Location: Boston, MA – 4 Days Onsite
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Data Analyst with strong expertise in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Architecture to support an AI/ML-driven operating model. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technical data solutions across complex, multi-system environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes.
- Assess and improve data catalogs, metadata, ownership, certification, lineage, and lifecycle management.
- Define metadata standards, tagging frameworks, templates, and validation processes.
- Establish governance standards for POC, Development, and Production data assets.
- Prioritize business use cases and translate requirements into scalable technical data solutions.
- Establish end-to-end data lineage from source systems to downstream applications.
- Collaborate with Data Office, IT, AI/ML teams, business stakeholders, and data owners.
- Support responsible AI, data privacy, security, compliance, and data quality initiatives.
- Investigate data leakage, duplication, technical debt, and data-quality issues.
- Develop training and communication materials to drive data governance adoption.
Required Technical Skills
- Informatica – MUST HAVE
- Strong experience with Data Governance and Enterprise Data Management
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Snowflake and SQL Server
- Knowledge of Data Lakes and AWS
- Experience with SageMaker and AI/ML data environments
- Understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage
- Knowledge of data architecture and cloud data platforms
- Ability to connect business requirements with technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Data Governance or Enterprise Data Management.
- Experience with AWS Glue, S3, SageMaker, and Snowflake.
- Python programming experience.
- Knowledge of MLOps, model versioning, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and Responsible AI.
- P&C Insurance / insurance underwriting experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
