Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Angular UI Developer to join a leading insurance client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with strong expertise in Angular, AWS, and modern frontend architecture. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical leadership, and mentorship of junior developers. Experience building custom component libraries and enterprise-scale applications is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and develop scalable frontend applications using Angular.
- Build reusable and maintainable custom UI component libraries.
- Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) solutions.
- Develop backend APIs and server-side functionality using Express.js.
- Drive frontend architecture decisions, coding standards, and best practices.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based deployments.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Mentor and guide junior developers while promoting engineering excellence.
- Ensure application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in Frontend/UI Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience developing and maintaining custom Angular component libraries.
- Production experience with Next.js and Express.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience implementing SSR and SSG architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and deployments.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the Insurance domain.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
