  • Create a rate-based schedule for your hardware and define/track constraints across your build for the next 6 missions
  • Use an established schedule to create and generate stakeholder buy-in on various scenarios to determine optimal hardware allocation between new/refurb hardware that take into account customer needs, current mission manifest, and customer quality requirements
  • Work with production teams to set, track, and execute daily and weekly goals for the work center that take into account personnel and equipment constraints but support overall rate targets

  • Negotiate with peers in other departments for correct overall priority and seek creative solutions that drive the optimal business outcome

  • Identify, develop, and implement opportunities for increased scheduling automation across the Starship Ship Engineering department with a focus on reducing the manual operations required to develop, track, and update overall schedules
  • Drive down near-term and future schedule risk by conducting work-center level capacity analysis, identifying model and communication gaps that cause schedule slips, and leading initiatives (reactive and proactive) that mitigate those risks
  • Lead efforts to uncover root-cause and develop permanent resolution on issues found during product builds as required to eliminate internal and external blockers to deliver product on time
  • Drive conversations around assembly-level & integration misalignment
  • Identify and support improvement opportunities for product yield, quality, safety, cost and team efficiency
