Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests throughout events
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and other event items
- Serve food and beverages according to event standards and service timelines
- Maintain clean, organized, and polished dining and event spaces throughout service
- Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the event
- Communicate with the event captain, catering team, and other staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and beverage service procedures
- Work efficiently and positively in a fast-paced event environment
- Follow event timelines, instructions, and service standards
- Handle event equipment, dishes, glassware, and other items with care
- Assist with end-of-event breakdown and ensure the venue is left clean and organized
- Represent Spaces in the City with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a hospitality-focused attitude
- Be willing to step in and assist teammates wherever needed to ensure a successful event
Experience
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, catering, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Professional, positive attitude with a strong focus on guest service
- Comfortable standing, walking, and assisting with event setup and breakdown
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
