Vast is looking for an EMI-EMC Test Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager, EMI-EMC, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location. Responsibilities: Help build and maintain our EMI-EMC test capabilities from the ground up. Support hiring for EMI-EMC technician and engineering roles. Implement tailored industry standards for Vast spacecraft and avionics. Work directly with cross functional teams to guide best practices for EMI-EMC design & test. Develop EMI-EMC test procedures. Support EMI-EMC test of Vast spacecraft and components. Contribute to a culture of extreme ownership by understanding and articulating to others how EMC relates to all subsystems and disciplines in human rated spacecraft.
