Pay: $95,000–$125,000 per year base, plus a performance bonus tied to lead growth

Build the marketing engine behind Houston's largest custom closet company.

SpaceManager Closets has designed, built and installed custom closets and built-in cabinetry in Houston for more than 25 years. We manufacture in-house, we design in CAD, and our own crews install. Now we're growing past Houston into Dallas and Austin, and we need a marketing leader who will own the number: qualified leads and booked design appointments.

What you'll do

• Own lead generation for the whole company, from first click to booked design consultation
• Lead our paid media (Google and Meta), holding agency partners to clear cost-per-appointment and cost-per-sale targets, and bring more of it in-house over time
• Run our content engine using the They Ask, You Answer approach: answer every question a homeowner has before they call us
• Direct our in-house videographer and a freelance writer so our work looks as good online as it does in the showroom
• Grow SEO and visibility in AI answer engines such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews
• Build email, newsletter and automation journeys in HubSpot
• Build non-digital channels: referral partnerships with designers, realtors and builders, community and showroom events, and direct mail
• Market to our builder and developer customers (about 20% of our business)
• Report to the owner with honest numbers every month and plan marketing for new cities

Who you are

• 8 years in marketing, with 3 years owning pipeline or leading a team
• Proven results marketing a high-consideration product or service, ideally in-home, home improvement, remodeling, or builder/trade channels
• Hands-on with HubSpot (or a comparable CRM), Google Ads, Meta Ads and Google Analytics. You can read an account and tell when an agency is coasting
• Strong with content and inbound marketing, and you know a good photo and a good video when you see one
• An operator who can roll up your sleeves in an owner-led business of about 37 people, not just manage vendors
• A visual person who genuinely loves design, spaces and craftsmanship
• Available to work on-site in Houston
