We are searching for qualified, motivated, energetic staff to join our after school team at our Windham Manchester Elementary school location! Windham Raymond School Age Child Care/Space to Thrive is a nationally accredited, state licensed, non-profit child care program providing before and after school to the children of the Windham and Raymond communities.
We provide care within RSU-14 to grades K-5 and provide our staff with plenty of growth and learning opportunities as well as a competitive benefits package. We work hard to cultivate a positive workplace environment and healthy morale among employees.
The morning hours are : 6:15am - 8:10am Monday - Friday
Afternoon hours are : 2:15pm-6:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 12:15-6:00 pm on Wednesdays. Additional hours are available including activity planning and preparation, child observations, and more.
Those with experience in child care centers, summer camps, or in teaching settings encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Collaborate with site coordinator and assistant site coordinator
- Interact with families daily
- Provide direct care and supervision of children grades Kindergarten through 5th grade
- Excellent communication with staff, children, families, and the community
- Able to work flexibly with a growing team
- Plan and implement enrichment activities
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Center based experience with children strongly preferred, willing to train!
- Background check
