We are seeking a Ground Segment Test Engineer to support our customer's mission. The Ground Segment Test Engineer develops and executes system tests within the test enterprise. Test Engineers collaborate with engineering and requirements subject matter experts to coordinate, author, review, and revise test plans, test procedures, data management and analysis plans, and test reporting. Test Engineers coordinate logistics for test execution and perform day-of-test activities in support of satellite vehicle and ground system integration.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain test and evaluation plans and associated planning documentation
- Support development and management of system verification plans and activities
- Support other systems engineering processes and documentation
- Coordinate with engineering subject matter experts to author test content and deliverables, which include test objectives, test measures, test procedures, and data analysis
- Perform day-of-test roles that include guiding test activities
- Ensure test integration and alignment with ground and space segment vendors and stakeholders
- May serve as the Ground Capability Test Team (CTT) Lead within the test enterprise
- May support Tranche-specific test campaigns within the PWSA Ground Program (PGP)
- Work with development team engineers to support integration of both software and hardware-in-the-loop development, test, and operational environments
- Evaluate software performance and assess its compatibility with new missions and CONOPS
- Participate in anomaly resolution activities
- Other test-related activities as systems and needs evolve
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or relevant discipline
- Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction
- 5 years’ experience in systems engineering
- Experience in system testing or planning and execution of other types of analytic activities
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance is required.
- 5 years’ experience in space or ground segment integration, test, and evaluation
- Agile framework experience including use of Jira/Confluence
- Experience with DoD and/or IC customers
- Recent experience with space and/or ground systems
