Space NY is a commercial interior design and experiential marketing studio specializing in brand and consumer experiences. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies. This role requires effective communication and coordination across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of project objectives while adhering to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop detailed project schedules, outlining key milestones and deliverables.
- Responsible for office and project operations to maintain effective work flow
- Responsible for tracking of every-day supplies for both the office and fabrication studio. Including but not limited to: consumable goods, shipping supplies, office supplies, stocked shop supplies
- Estimating projects in partnership with co-founders
- Sourcing and counter sourcing all materials based on internal and external requirements.
- Maintain individual project budgets and tracking margins by project.
- Responsible for project timelines and team calendar maintenance based on client correspondence in partnership with co-founders
- Track and maintain invoice tracker and payment schedule for all billing issues.
- Responsible for all estimate and invoice issuance including direct follow up and processing all new client and vendor paperwork
- Responsible for all shipping needs incoming and receiving, and supply returns.
- Assist studio and shop team with production where needed and time permits
- Assist with strategic ideas and strategies to drive top line sales
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Understanding of Adobe Suite
- Strong skills in Project Scheduling and Planning to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate project goals, updates, and challenges clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they arise.
