Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in El Segundo, CA, for a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer. The GNC Engineer will design, develop, and test algorithms and systems for guidance, navigation, and control applications. Responsibilities include validating and optimizing GNC architectures, performing simulations, and analyzing system performance. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration and testing of solutions, ensuring alignment with project requirements and goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineering, with strong skills in algorithm development and analysis
- Proficiency in tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Python for modeling and simulation
- Experience in dynamic systems, control theory, and flight dynamics
- Understanding of spacecraft or aerospace systems, including development and testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in a classified environment is required
- Experience in mission design, hardware integration, or equivalent expertise is a plus

Where You’ll Be:
- The position is onsite at our headquarters in El Segundo, CA. Domestic travel may be required (up to ~20% of the year).
Pay Range
$115,000 - $165,000 USD

Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, job-related skills, relevant education/experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and internal equity.
Salary : $115,000 - $165,000
