The Opportunity

You will work with SFA colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to acquire and develop Missile Warning/Defense, Weather, and Nuclear Detection Systems. Open Role 1: Test Program Manager
Leads the planning, integration and execution of system-level test and verification activities to ensure that the U.S. Nuclear Detonation Detection System ground segment meets performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and operational readiness requirements
You Have:
• 6 years supporting large-scale national security space missions in systems engineering, integration, or test
• 5 years leading or supporting system-level test programs for DoD space or ground software systems
• Experience developing and executing integrated test strategies across developmental test (DT), integration test, system test, and operational test (OT)
• Experience with verification and validation (V&V), requirements traceability, test readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and sustainment
• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs and milestone reviews
• Knowledge of systems engineering life-cycle processes, including requirements development, integration, verification, validation, and configuration management
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide senior leadership with objective readiness assessments and risk insights

Transitions large-scale platform architectures across both on-premise and cloud environments for software release and deployment.
You Have
• 5 years working systems engineering on national security-related space programs
• 3 years performing systems integration or software deployment processes on large-scale platform architectures
• Experience performing system configuration reviews, configuration audits, or software deployment procedures
• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

Open Role 3: Systems Engineering & Test Engineer
Apply your Systems Engineering skills as a test lead on an exciting Remote Sensing Missile Warning and Missile Defense Program
You Have
• 7 years working large-scale missions and systems engineering and integration
• 4 years performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
• 3 years of experience using MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
• Experience leading dispersed multifunctional technical teams
• Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and increase the security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical network systems
You Have
• 6 years working as a network or data center systems engineer
• 3 years working on network architecture
• Experience in network design, protocols, and infrastructure, and with IPv4, IPv6, QoS, MPLS, or BGP
• Knowledge of network topology diagrams and modifying, as needed, using network diagraming software, such as MS Visio
• Knowledge of STIG network device security compliance, security hardening requirements, and secure device access control login methods
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices, including Crypto, COMSEC, ViPER, or VOIP, to install and configure network devices
• Ability to develop network architecture to support worldwide encrypted communications and model out bandwidth, data flows, and define data mission threads in MBSE

Develop software & hardware plans and schedules for space and ground systems
You Have
• 4 years working systems engineering or project management, schedule planning, and development efforts on Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, or hardware systems
• 1 years creating, maintaining, and updating project-based schedules including critical paths, and comparing actual progress against the baseline
• Experience developing, documenting, and executing a Lean-Agile process to establish and manage Integrated Master Schedules and technical baselines
• Experience identifying scheduling risks or conflicts and implementing remediation and mitigation plans
• Experience applying Critical Path Methodology (CPM) to identify dependencies, calculate float, and expose schedule risks.
• Experience with scheduling tools, including MS Project, Milestones Professional, One Pager Pro, and Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, and Excel
• Ability to gather data from multiple sources and stakeholders across the program and display it in a useful manner for the customer
• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers, and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

Develop and deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning and Missile Defense Ground Systems
You Have
• 6 years working/planning on test and evaluation, and system integration on Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including complex ground software, and hardware systems
• 6 years working in a collaborative team environment, developing test strategies, plans, reports, and briefings, and participating in test execution, verification, or analysis
• Experience supporting overall engineering integration of systems engineering and integration efforts for the DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs
• Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
• Ability to define, develop, maintain, and execute large-scale system test plans and overarching test and evaluation strategy documents, including Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), System Integration Test Plans (SITP), Enterprise Verification Plans (EVP), Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM), and Requirements Verification Files (RVFs)
• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
