Responsibilities
- Assist customers and service personnel in identifying and ordering the correct parts.
- Determine parts needs and accurately specify parts requirements.
- Create, process, and modify purchase orders.
- Submit purchase orders to vendors and track incoming inventory.
- Receive, record, and process warranty parts returns.
- Create special-order parts in the dealership management system and notify advisors, technicians, or customers upon arrival.
- Monitor and review special-order parts tracking.
- Process and close open invoices.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and received merchandise for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain records of parts purchases, receipts, and inventory transactions.
- Perform ongoing warehouse and parts inventory counts.
- Maintain an organized and efficient parts department.
- Participate in weekly department and dealership meetings.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership parts counter or parts advisor experience required.
- Toyota parts experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications, with commission and bonus opportunities available.
