Duties

• Strong knowledge of roofing systems (shingle, metal, flat, or tile preferred)
• Lead and supervise roofing crews, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Review construction drawings and technical specifications to interpret project requirements accurately.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to OSHA and federal safety regulations.
• Oversee the review of contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with construction safety management practices and federal construction safety regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and project scheduling to optimize resource allocation.
• Supervise the review of blueprints and technical drawings for accuracy before installation begins.
• Manage crew management activities including training, performance evaluations, and safety briefings.
• Willingness to travel out of county/state as required

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site management in commercial roofing projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, project planning, and blueprint reading.
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and conducting quality control inspections.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.
• Excellent managerial communication skills for supervising crews and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting, contract management, and project documentation review.
