SPAARK, Inc is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager/Watch Analyst (PM) to provide mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions to our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Service (FPS) customer at the FPS Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.
This position is contingent on contract award
PROGRAM SUMMARY:
- SPAARK Inc. will provide watch desk, briefing, and production work to assist the FPS in monitoring and information sharing of operational activity and incidents, managing information synthesis and flow, and presenting this information in useful ways.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for the quality of deliverables provided and performance of contract watch standers
- Manages watch functions, processes, and information flow
- Maintains situational awareness of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) related events, incidents, and threats
- Prioritizes tasks and efforts and coordinates information gathering and reporting with other Federal Protective Service (FPS) Elements.
- Conducts training for all watch personnel and shifts to ensure compliance with production and watch activity guidelines.
- Assures and controls production and service quality as related to communications, information transmission, and data/information presentation
EXPERIENCE:
- Twelve (12) years of experience in operation centers, emergency management, dispatch, first responder (law enforcement/fire/rescue) or related work with at least eight (8) years in management
CLEARANCE LEVEL:
- Secret Clearance
CERTIFICATION:
- A Program/Project Manager certification is desired for this position.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum requirement of a BA/BS in a relevant discipline.
