Spa Manager - Massage and Skincare Services - Sales and People Management

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring smooth service delivery and operational efficiency
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of therapists and skincare specialists through effective training, coaching, and performance management
• Drive retail sales by promoting massage and skincare products, implementing sales strategies, and monitoring inventory levels
• Develop staff schedules, manage shift coverage, and ensure optimal staffing levels to meet customer demand
• Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction
• Manage payroll, inventory control, and purchasing processes to optimize profitability
• Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones, including promotional campaigns and community outreach

Requirements

• Proven management experience in a retail or service environment, preferably within the wellness or beauty industry
• Strong sales management skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets through effective team leadership
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and operational procedures such as cash handling and pricing strategies
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, interview, onboard new employees, and conduct employee orientation programs
• Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques including merchandising, product knowledge, and promotional planning
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive work environment
• Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally via phone etiquette or in person while maintaining high standards of service excellence
